Later issues from the original 1980s Marvel Star Wars comic book series were post-Return of the Jedi stories. After all, the last movie was released in 1983, so the comic book writers had to come up with some new material. Issue #87 (from June 1984) is one of those tales. This action-packed issue finds Luke Skywalker teaming up with Dani, Kiro the Water Breather, and Rik Duel's gang to save the galaxy from an Imperial Doomsday machine.
